WellSprings Tea for Healthy & Beautiful Skin

I love tea! Several years ago I ran across several articles about the health benefits of tea, especially green tea, and began adding it to my daily diet. Trying new teas and experiencing the subtle nuances in taste from tea blends is fun for me. I especially enjoy the taste of green tea and I’m convinced of its health benefits. I’ve learned that all green teas are not created equal and it’s important to get quality, loose leaf tea; not the sugar-laden, packaged teas that lack real health benefits.

When I met Peter and Amber Barnett from Pipers Tea and Coffee company, it was obvious that they had a strong fondness and knowledge of tea, tea blends and their various health properties. So when I approached them about my desire to have a green tea blended specifically to benefit the health of the skin, the inevitable adventure began.  Lengthy collaboration and more tea tasting than you can imagine has resulted in an original WellSprings green tea blend. To say that we are excited…is such an understatement!

This wonderful tea has been formulated to help with acne, eczema, fine lines and wrinkles, hair growth, dandruff, and dehydration of the skin when consumed regularly and on a daily basis.

Ingredients:

Longjing tea (Dragon Well tea)

Longjing which literally translates as “dragon well,” is said to have been named after a well that contains relatively dense water, and following rain, the lighter rainwater floating on the surface sometimes exhibits a sinuous and twisting boundary resembling the movement of a Chinese dragon.

This is an imperial grade green tea from China renowned for its high quality consisting of vitamin C, amino acids, anti-oxidants, and one of the highest concentrations of catechins among Chinese green teas.

Anti-inflammatory, Fights plaque, Fat burner, Immune booster

Echinacea

Echinacea is a native North American coneflower that was discovered and used as a traditional herbal remedy for more than 400 years by the Great Plains Indian tribes. Today, the plant is used to make medications from its flowers, leaves, and roots.

This herb is an immune system booster. It also helps fight against acne-causing bacteria and reduces symptoms of eczema and psoriasis. Its high concentration of tannins helps decrease wrinkles.

Chaste Tree Berries

These berries have been used therapeutically by the Greeks and Romans for over 2500 years.

Modern uses include reducing PMS, easing menstrual cramps, breast tenderness, headaches, fatigue and bloating. Can also fight hormone imbalance and help regulate progesterone and estrogen balance.
