Evelyn M. Jones, M.D., FABD, FAAD

Dr. Evelyn Jones, a board certified Dermatologist, has been practicing in Paducah, Kentucky since 1993. Her dermatology practice and skincare business provides the atmosphere and resources to develop a mission and culture that allows the entire staff to touch and change lives.

The mission of WellSprings is to educate and encourage others towards excellence in wellness and healing in their lives for the glory of God thereby equipping and empowering them to impact others.

Dr. Jones grew up in Paducah, Kentucky the daughter of Dr. Wally Montgomery and Gerry Montgomery. She graduated Valedictorian of Paducah Tilghman High School and Summa Cum Laude with B. S. in Biology and Chemistry from Georgetown College. She received her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine with honors in Alpha Omega Alpha, Gross Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Embryology, Pediatrics and Clinical Dermatology. Her medical internship and dermatology residency were completed at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals.

Since starting her practice she has been blessed with numerous opportunities all over the United States to speak and write about multiple facets of dermatology, as well as spiritual and physical wellness. Due to her core value of education, she pursues many avenues to educate her patients, clients and community on the importance of healthy skin as well as healthy living. She is especially passionate about empowering women to know their worth; living fully and beautifully, inside and out.

She has also conducted several research studies in the field of dermatology. Staying on the cutting edge of research and changes in the fields of dermatology is very important to her and she places great importance on passing this on to all who enter WellSprings.

Dr. Jones enjoys serving this community while seeking to make a difference wherever she can. First in her life behind God is her family.   She is married to Dr. Shawn Jones, a practicing Otolaryngologist, and they have three adult children.

Lisa A. Boget, MMSc, PA-C

Lisa Boget is a master’s trained physician assistant who has been practicing since 1997. Prior to joining the dermatology practice at WellSprings Dermatology, Lisa practiced in a primary care setting in a medically underserved area in Illinois through a program sponsored by the National Health Service Corp.

Lisa is originally from the Atlanta, Georgia area. She attended Kennesaw State University and graduated with Honors with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduation, she worked in the business side of medicine with a cancer diagnostic corporation. While working in this setting, she was given the opportunity to work with physicians and physician assistants which sparked her interest in pursuing a career as a medical provider.

She then moved to the Chicago area and attended Midwestern University and graduated with Honors with a Masters degree in Medical Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies in 1997. Lisa began her career at WellSprings in 2003 after working in Primary Care for 6 years.

Lisa is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants (KAPA), and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Lisa’s responsibilities at WellSprings Dermatology include attending the medical needs of new and existing patients with ranging diagnoses in conjunction with Dr. Evelyn M. Jones.

Lisa is married and with her husband have a loving family of 3 children. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and being active in her church in Anna, Illinois.

LACY B. BOYD, MSM, PA-C

Lacy Boyd is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing since 2008. Prior to joining Dr. Evelyn Jones at WellSprings Dermatology, Lacy practiced full-time in the emergency department of Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.

Born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky, Lacy graduated from Lone Oak High School. Lacy’s interest in medicine was sparked at a very young age and grew under the influence of her mother, Dr. Mitzi Richardson, long time Paducah veterinarian. While Lacy has a love for animals as well, her passion and commitment lies in caring for people. Lacy gets to live out that passion daily as she so ably attends to the medical needs of the patients at WellSprings.

Lacy attended Austin Peay State University, graduating with Honors and a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Following graduation, she pursued and successfully completed a Masters in the Science of Medicine in the physician assistant program at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Lacy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).

Lacy is married to Michael Boyd and is the proud mother of 4 children.

COURTNEY LOWERY

Courtney Lowery is the Practice Manager at WellSprings Institute.  She has been with the practice since April 2017.  Prior to joining Dr. Evelyn Jones at WellSprings Dermatology, Courtney worked as a Risk Specialist in the Risk Management department of Baptist Health and spent the previous 16 years in the legal field as a paralegal.  Courtney also manages her and her husband’s construction company, bringing extensive knowledge in various areas to further facilitate the day to day effectiveness of WellSprings.

Prior to moving to Paducah in 2004, Courtney was born and raised in Murray, Kentucky.  She is a graduate from Calloway County High School, attended Murray State University and Kaplan University, where she graduated with honors from the school of Paralegal Studies.

Her giving heart and leadership skills are evidenced in her service on various boards and committees around the region and in her continually active involvement with her church’s youth group.

Courtney is married to Jerry Lowery and they have a daughter.
